I was born in Edmonton, Canada and spent my early years in the Chicago area, followed by university studies in Massachusetts in chemistry and engineering. On the side, I also studied printmaking, etching and sculpture.
Although I remain a life-long photographer, other artistic activities were interrupted by an international business career that included extended periods living in China and Switzerland. I recently moved to Bend, Oregon
